These Terms of Use explain the conditions for using the Canadian RV Owners Alliance website. In these terms, “CRVOA,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Canadian Recreational Vehicle Owners Alliance.
The website provides information about our RV community, membership, resources, events and partner opportunities. Please read these terms before using the website or submitting information. If you do not agree with them, please discontinue your use of the website.
1. Using the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes, including learning about CRVOA, accessing RV information, making inquiries and applying for membership.
You must not:
- Submit information you know is false, misleading or fraudulent.
- Impersonate another person or claim to represent CRVOA without authorization.
- Post or submit unlawful, threatening, harassing or discriminatory material.

2. RV information and personal responsibility
Our resources may include articles, practical suggestions, personal experiences and information supplied by members or other contributors. This information is provided for general educational purposes.
RV equipment, towing requirements, road conditions, campground rules and travel regulations vary and can change. Information suitable for one vehicle or situation may be unsuitable for another.
Before acting on information from this website, check the relevant manufacturer’s instructions and current requirements from the appropriate authority. Obtain qualified assistance for repairs, electrical work, propane systems, towing, structural changes and other work that could affect safety.
Website content does not replace professional mechanical, electrical, legal, insurance, medical or other advice. You remain responsible for decisions about your vehicle, travel plans and personal safety.
3. Accuracy and website availability
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but we cannot guarantee that every page, contribution or linked resource is complete, current or free from error.
We may correct, update or remove content as needed. The website may also be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our control.

4. Membership applications
Submitting an application does not automatically establish CRVOA membership. Applications are subject to review under the eligibility requirements and membership policies approved by CRVOA.
Applicants must provide accurate information and be authorized to provide any information submitted about other household members. Please notify us of changes that affect your eligibility or membership records.
Membership categories, fees, terms, renewal arrangements and benefits will be explained through the applicable membership information and correspondence. Before making a payment, confirm the amount, currency, payment instructions and any cancellation or refund conditions.
These website terms do not replace CRVOA’s governing documents or formally adopted membership policies. If there is a conflict about membership rights or obligations, the applicable governing documents and law take precedence.
5. Partner offers and third-party services
The website may feature businesses, sponsors, campgrounds, service providers and member offers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these providers operate independently of CRVOA. Their own terms govern their products, services, reservations, warranties, cancellations and refunds.
Confirm prices, eligibility, availability and other conditions directly with the provider before purchasing or booking. Offers may change or expire.
A listing, sponsorship or link does not by itself mean that CRVOA has inspected a business, verified every claim or guaranteed its products or services. Any sponsorship, partnership or paid placement should be identified as such.
6. Events and activities
Event information may change, including dates, locations, availability and participation requirements. Check the current details with the named organizer before travelling, booking accommodation or making a payment.
Separate registration conditions, campground rules, cancellation policies or participation agreements may apply. Those conditions should be provided before registration or payment.
RV travel and outdoor activities involve risks. Participants are responsible for assessing their own abilities, preparing suitable equipment and following applicable safety instructions.
These website terms do not serve as an event liability waiver.
7. Links and social media
Links to external websites, videos and social media are provided for convenience or further information. We do not control their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
Your use of an external service, including social media platforms, is subject to that service’s terms and policies. CRVOA community rules may also apply in spaces administered by CRVOA.
8. Website content and ownership
Website text, photographs, graphics, logos and other material may belong to CRVOA or to contributors and other rights holders. Material being available on the website does not make it free to reuse.
You may view the website and share links to its public pages. You may also print or save reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial reference, provided you retain attribution and copyright notices.
For republication, commercial use, modification or use of a CRVOA name or logo, obtain permission from the appropriate rights holder unless the use is otherwise permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits rights available under applicable copyright law, including fair dealing.
9. Contributions and submissions
When submitting an article, photograph, resource or other material for publication, you must own it or have the permissions needed for CRVOA to use it. Obtain permission before submitting identifiable photographs or personal information about other people.
You retain ownership of your material. By submitting it for publication, you give CRVOA a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, display and make reasonable formatting or accessibility edits to it for the website.
This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising uses. A private inquiry or membership application is not a submission for public publication.
We may decline, edit or remove a contribution. Contact us if you wish to correct or withdraw published material. We will consider the request, but do not guarantee it, nor can we recall copies already downloaded or retained by third parties.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Please review it before submitting a form.
Provide only the information requested. Do not submit payment-card details, banking credentials, identification documents or sensitive personal information through general inquiry or contribution forms.
Do not publish another person’s contact details, membership information or private correspondence without their permission.
